Overview

We are seeking an experienced Estimator and Order Processor to support our domestic window and door portfolio across uPVC, Aluminium and Timber systems. The role requires technical accuracy, strong customer interaction, and the ability to manage orders from initial enquiry through to manufacturer submission.

WERU supply and install the finest German quality windows and doors both in the Northwest and across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

Produce accurate, fully costed quotations for domestic window and door projects. Interpret architectural drawings, schedules, specifications, and customer requirements. Engage directly with clients, contractors, surveyors, and architects to clarify project details. Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to ensure pricing accuracy and smooth workflow. Host customers in the showroom, presenting products and explaining technical and service options. Manage customer enquiries, orders, and project updates professionally and promptly. Prepare and issue complete, error-free orders to manufacturers across multiple system suppliers. Monitor and manage all live orders to ensure projects progress correctly and within required timeframes.

Skills & Experience Required

A minimum of 3 years' estimating experience within the aluminium or uPVC window and door sector. Strong knowledge of industry systems; experience with Senior, Schuco, Rehau, or Velfac is advantageous. Proficiency with estimating software such as LogiKal, Evolution, or First Degree. Working knowledge of AutoCAD (desirable). Confident in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications. High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational discipline. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team and with external stakeholders.
