Sales Estimator - Street Furniture

We are looking to recruit an ambitious and enthusiastic individual to be a part of our growing sales and manufacturing team. We are a leading steel fabrication company who manufactures street furniture for prestigious projects all over the UK. We manufacture everything in house, products include everything from Planters and Benches to Pergolas and Structures as well as a wide variety of bespoke products.

Key Responsibilities

Liaising with customers to establish scope of work and budget.

Putting together detailed time and material estimates.

Follow up on previously submitted enquiries.

Build and develop relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.

Liaising with the drawing and production team to share information regarding lead in times and manufacturing methods.

Skills - Essential

Ability to review and evaluate architectural drawings with high levels of attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Sound understanding of steel manufacturing methods as well as knowledge in standard fixing and finishing methods and an ability to Interpret technical CAD drawings.

Must be both technically and commercially focused.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to prioritise your own workload, multitask and meet deadlines.

Skills - Advantageous but not essential

Experience within the street furniture market sector.

Timber manufacturing knowledge.

Proficiency with Microsoft word & Excel.

Prior experience working with an MRP system.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 30,000.00-35,000.00 per year
