Working within the Hermitage Sales Team, this is a busy and varied role with the responsibility of co-ordinating events at The Hermitage Hotel.

We are looking for an experienced Sales & Events Co-ordinator with a positive attitude and excellent communication and organisational skills. You will be committed to deliver a high level of customer service at all times,

Experience using Guestline a bonus, but not essential.

Main responsibilities:

Taking enquiries for meetings, events and group bookings for The Hermitage Hotel via email, telephone and in person.

Arrange and carry out Hotel show rounds for events, setting the scene prior to the meeting whilst building strong relationships with customers to fully understand their needs and secure future business opportunities.

Putting together quotes, contracts and function sheets for all meeting and events including Ladies Festivals, Corporate Meetings, Celebratory Events, Christmas Party's etc.

Hosting events, welcome guests to functions, co-ordinate functions

Develop future and repeat business, contributing to the profitability of the Hotel - actively seeking new business is a prominent part of the role. You will make regular sales calls; event follow up calls, calls to past users, client office visits and to proactively think of new ideas that will bring in additional revenue.
