We are a company well respected for the quality Hire of Trailers , Builders Plant, Tool Hire and Light Commercial Vehicle Hire . In addition to this we offer workshop facilities for the repair and service of road Trailers and commercial vehicles which is a very active part of our business

Working in the Shropshire,Herefordshire West Midlands and Mid wales area and also with many customers in every corner of the UK.

We are currently seeking a Hire Sales person with "similar" industry experience . Reporting to the company Managing Director.

Experience in Construction, Plant Hire, Ground works ,Builders Merchants, Commercial vehicle, Automotive etc. industries would be an advantage particularly if paired with Sales office and customer service experience.

Daily duties will include:

Communication with customers face to face and via Telephone and email Identifying and understanding customer requirements and matching them to our Hire equipment Adding value to sales to firstly provide and excellent service and also raise sales figures Identifying potential customers and making contact and developing new customer relationships Day to day incoming telephone answering in a polite and proactive way offering helpful and accurate advice to customer enquiries Email communication regarding new and existing contracts Ensuring Customers hiring assets from us provide suitable ID information and fulfil our additional hire criteria Booking in and out service and repair jobs Ensuring invoicing and customer payments are processed on a daily basis Sorting out customer queries and resolving issues that arise promptly to maintain goodwill with customers . Working to increase sales and gauge this using sales targets and figures on a monthly basis
Outline attributes required:

Experience of working in a small/medium sized business Able to work with little day to day supervision but realistic enough to seek assistance when necessary A person who is capable of working with others successfully to create a pleasant working team Exceptional interpersonal skills in communication face to face, over the telephone and via email An experienced strength of character to deal with challenging customers in the hire sales environment Excellent attention to detail Able to work under pressure in a small business environment where willingness to jump in and help is required
Immediate start available

We are seeking a person to join us with knowledge and experience to add to our organisation this is not suitable as a trainee role

Remuneration is dependent on experience .

Some Saturday morning working required, Flexible working possible . Four day week etc. is negotiable. Based upon a 40hour week .

Desirable start time per day would be 7.30am
