Role Summary:



As a Sales Executive / Business Developer, you'll focus on generating new business for our same-day courier services. You'll identify and win new clients who need urgent, reliable, and secure deliveries. The role is remote, but ideally you'll be based in or near Berkshire for networking, meetings, and local business development.

Key Responsibilities:



Lead generation & outreach: Identify businesses and industries that rely on time-critical deliveries; proactively approach potential clients via calls, emails, networking, and referrals.

Relationship building: Build long-term relationships with businesses who need dependable same-day courier solutions.

Presenting & pitching: Clearly communicate the benefits of Tactical Despatch - reliability, speed, visibility, and sustainability.

Negotiation & closing: Manage pricing discussions and close profitable deals that align with our service offering.

Customer onboarding: Ensure smooth onboarding of new clients into our booking and tracking systems.

Market research & feedback: Monitor local business needs, competitors, and opportunities; share insights to strengthen our offering.

Targets & reporting: Achieve agreed sales targets; maintain accurate records of leads, pipeline, and conversions.

What We're Looking For:



Proven experience in sales, ideally B2B within courier, logistics, or time-sensitive services.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Self-motivated, resilient, and capable of working independently.

Ability to quickly understand and present our same-day courier value proposition.

Familiarity with CRM tools and structured sales approaches.

Ideally based in or near Berkshire for occasional client visits and networking.

Terms & Conditions



Contract: Self-employed contractor.

Working arrangement: Remote, flexible working hours (with availability for client needs and meetings).

Hours: 20-25 hours a Week. Happy for this to work around child care or other interests. Preferably during working hours.

Compensation: Base Salary @17phr + Commission-based performance bonuses, between 85-500 Per Customer, depending on Size.

Travel: Occasional local travel within Berkshire, Wiltshire, Hampshire, and surrounding areas.
