The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals seeking their first job.
We are looking for ambitious Sales Executives to join our Classified Sales team, where you will be responsible for selling advertising solutions across both print and digital platforms.
This is a fantastic opportunity to launch your career in the media and publishing industry with a global business that's home to some of the UK's most iconic titles. Driven individuals can quickly progress to being responsible for one of our successful advertising sections, taking ownership of cross-platform sales. You will be part of a high-performing, collaborative team that consistently delivers strong results, with the opportunity to learn from experienced sales professionals and senior leaders every day.
What will you be doing?
Selling Classified adverts and advertising space
Working to achieve and exceed print and digital advertising sales targets
Contacting and liaising directly with prospects and clients to sell and build revenue, and long-term relationships
Managing page innovation, layout, and design for Classified advertising sections
Collaborating with clients to develop effective adverts through creative copywriting and design
Preparing tailored sales presentations for client pitches
Attending client meetings, including face-to-face interactions where appropriate
What You'll Learn:
How to confidently present our brands to prospective clients via email, phone, and video
The fundamentals of advertising and sales
How to source high-quality, relevant leads to build your sales pipeline
Best practices in persuasive and results-driven copywriting
Effective client liaison and account management skills in a commercial environment
About You:
Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent
Genuine passion for Conde Nast brands and the media industry
Determined, highly motivated, and ambitious with a strong drive to succeed
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage your time effectively and meet deadlines consistently
Skilled at building and maintaining strong, positive relationships
We offer a starting base salary of 31,000 per annum, with the potential to earn additional sales-related bonuses. In your first year, average total earnings, including bonuses, typically reach 37,000 per annum.
