The Opportunity Co is a hospitality consultancy that drives business growth through strategic Sales and Marketing. We work with both emerging and established hospitality businesses, bringing experienced talent into key areas of marketing and sales to unlock their full potential.

We are seeking a passionate Sales Executive to join our team on a consultancy basis, supporting both The Opportunity Co's internal business and our client portfolio. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who thrives in a supportive, fast-paced environment, enjoys creative problem-solving, and is committed to delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities



Sales & Client Management

Act as the main point of contact for inbound sales enquiries across a portfolio of hospitality venues.*
Qualify, respond to, and convert enquiries for private dining, group bookings, venue hire, parties, and corporate events.*
Convert potential sales leads into confirmed bookings with a guest response time of under 1-2 hours.*
Maximise reactive sales opportunities through strong relationship-building, high response times, and optimised conversion.*
Deliver tailored proposals, contracts, and guest communications aligned with each brand's positioning.*
Contribute to increased sales across all revenue streams, following client calendars of events.*

Operations & Reporting

Manage the full booking process, from initial enquiry through to confirmed handover with venue teams.*
Maintain accurate records of enquiries, conversions, and pipeline activity using booking and CRM systems (DMN, Open Table, ResDiary and Airship, Connect experience ideal but not a dealbreaker).*
Prepare end-of-day and end-of-week reports detailing activity, pipeline, conversion, guest covers, and revenue for clients and founders.*
Ensure smooth communication between clients, venue managers, and operational teams.*

Brand & Guest Experience



Provide a consistent, high-quality guest relations service to generate repeat business, loyalty, and additional revenue streams.*
Act as a brand ambassador for The Opportunity Co and client venues.*
Uphold professionalism, discretion, and high standards in all client and guest interactions.*
Attend weekly company meetings and provide feedback on guest experience, sales performance, and market trends.*

Skills & Qualifications



Energetic, committed, and passionate hospitality professional with proven bar and restaurant experience.*
Strong understanding of hospitality sales processes.*
Excellent communication and organisational skills; able to manage multiple enquiries and deadlines.*
Customer-focused with a professional, friendly approach.*
Confident using booking systems and CRM software to manage data and communication.*
Driven to succeed, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced consultancy environment.*
Full UK driving licence and access to a car preferred (for site visits).*

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: 100.00-120.00 per day

Expected hours: 40 per week

Initially, remote working will be at least 80% of the time, but with plans to reduce to 60% once office location in Milton Keynes is decided. We meet as a team in a hospitality location in MK once a week. Can you be flexible to this?
