We're looking for a motivated Sales Executive to help drive revenue and deliver exceptional advertising solutions across our print and digital platforms. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-established, successful team in a fast-paced, creative environment.
About the Role
As a Sales Executive, you'll use your telephone-based sales skills to develop new business and grow existing client relationships. You'll work directly with clients and agencies, selling tailored advertising solutions from our extensive Travel portfolio. This role requires strong commercial acumen, creativity, and the ability to work to daily deadlines while maximising revenue opportunities.
Main Responsibilities
Achieve revenue targets and individual KPIs across the Travel portfolio.
Proactively source new business leads through inbound and outbound sales calls.
Maximise existing and new revenue streams through development of your assigned territory.
Actively seek out new markets, revenue streams and categories of business.
Use a consultative sales approach to understand client needs and deliver the best advertising solutions.
Liaise with external suppliers and internal departments in a professional manner.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and agencies, acting as a brand ambassador.
Document all activity in Salesforce Lightning CRM and manage campaigns effectively.
Collaborate with colleagues and support the wider Travel team.
Person Specification
Proven experience in sales, ideally within media or advertising.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Strong telephone-based selling ability and confidence in closing deals.
Knowledge of digital advertising and the wider media landscape.
Highly organised, deadline-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce) and ad booking platforms is an advantage
