Camloc Motion Control, a UK designer and manufacturer of motion control solutions, is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Intern to join our dynamic sales team. This consultative sales position would be suitable for a student looking to gain experience while contributing to our new business growth initiatives.
The focus of the role will be management of live customer data, prioritisation of opportunities and relationship building with warm / qualified prospects, all with the aim of increasing the new business sales pipeline. The Sales Intern will maintain sales dashboards to track performance metrics alongside market research activities to provide insights into industry trends and competitor strategies.
As a Sales Intern, you will receive hands-on training and mentorship while contributing to our company's growth and success. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in sales operations across a wide range of sectors and countries.
Responsibilities
Support the sales team in generating leads and following up with potential clients.
Pro-actively identify and pursue new business.
Take ownership of projects/clients and build lasting relationships.
Be able to work towards set targets.
Assist with preparing sales presentation and proposals.
Help maintain the CRM system and sales database.
Participate in sales meetings and contribute ideas.
Develop understanding of our products/services and value propositions.
Requirements
Would suit a student looking for a year in industry placement.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be confident to make telephone calls.
Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a desire to learn.
Basic understanding of sales principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
