Role Overview
PumpApp is seeking an experienced, commercially driven
Sales Lead
with a proven background in fuel, AdBlue, lubricants, or broader energy sector sales. In this senior role, you will be responsible for leading revenue growth, building strategic customer relationships, and developing new business opportunities across key commercial sectors.
This position is ideal for someone who understands the fuel/energy market, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is motivated by achieving targets and driving measurable business impact.
Role Responsibilities
Take ownership of PumpApp's sales direction, focusing on growing revenue across both fuel and AdBlue delivery services.
Identify and approach potential clients in key sectors such as transport, fleet management, logistics, construction, agriculture, and industrial operations, with the goal of securing new commercial accounts.
Maintain and develop a strong sales pipeline, ensuring regular follow-ups, accurate forecasting, and solid conversion results.
Build and sustain long-term relationships with commercial customers by understanding how their operations run and offering PumpApp solutions that genuinely meet their needs.
Carry out on-site visits, deliver tailored proposals, negotiate pricing agreements, and successfully close high-value deals.
Work closely with the operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth delivery and a consistently high standard of service for every client.
Keep track of market shifts, competitor behaviour, and customer feedback to support informed strategic decisions.
Act as a professional representative of PumpApp at industry events, meetings, and trade shows.
Play an active role in refining sales processes, improving messaging, and strengthening PumpApp's position in the market.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone with solid industry experience -- ideally from fuel, energy, AdBlue, lubricants, or similar commercial fluid sectors.
You'll need 3-5 years of B2B sales background and a proven record of consistently meeting or beating revenue targets.
A strong grasp of sectors like commercial fleet, haulage, transport, agriculture, or construction is important.
You should be confident building and maintaining customer relationships, negotiating agreements, and securing high-value deals.
Clear, confident communication skills are essential, along with the ability to present, influence, and work well with different people.
We value individuals who are self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently while still contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Strong organisational habits are key -- especially managing a busy sales pipeline and knowing how to prioritise.
Familiarity with CRM platforms, sales reporting, and planning tools is expected.
A full, clean UK driving licence is strongly preferred due to the nature of customer site visits.
