Sales Ledger Analyst

The role...

The role of Sales Ledger Analyst is really important to us. You will be responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of credit information to support in country credit teams. Including daily banking, cash allocation, ledger management and outsource recoveries support.

Salary: Up to \xc2\xa325,000 + commission

Location: Radius Campus, Crewe Business Park, Emperor Way, Crewe, CW1 6BD

Hours: Monday - Friday 08:30am-05:00pm (no evenings, weekends or bank holidays)

What would your day look like as a Sales Ledger Analyst?

• Gather and verify invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment
• Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared
• Perform daily cash management duties, including the recording of bank deposits, updating and distribution of cash receipt logs, and posting of cash to the accounts receivable sub-ledger
• Monitor and collect accounts receivable by contacting clients via telephone, email, and mail
• Support other accounting and finance team members, inventory management, and cost accounting

• Attention to Detail \xe2\x80\x93 a head for numbers and ability to spot and solve problems whilst dealing with a high volume of transactional data.
• Drive to Succeed \xe2\x80\x93 driven to achieve targets, tenacious and persistent in your approach.
• Working knowledge of Sage and Microsoft Office is desirable
• Strong mathematical skills
