4DegreesC, a leading Fresh Produce supplier, is seeking a professional Sales Account Manager / New Business Development Manager to expand and support their extensive client base, who are some of the top restaurants, hotels, and contract caterers in the UK. You will have to fully immerse yourself within the Catering Industry in London, going to social events, networking, and growing their sales portfolio with long standing, strong and well managed accounts.
As this is a field-based role, you will actively be using your own network, (and developing it) to arrange meetings with decision makers, to create a strong sales pipeline to covert in new sales. You will also be given a portfolio of clients which you have to account manage, retain and grow sales. You must be ready to hit the ground running.
You must have excellent sales and communication skills. You'll need to be organised, an effective communicator, resilient, determined, MOST OF ALL YOU MUST BE TARGET DRIVEN, COMPETITIVE AND SALES HUNGRY. Previous foodservice experience would be advantageous, an appreciation and basic knowledge of Fresh Produce and Ingredients is essential.
OTE 45K plus, however a generous, uncapped commission package on top of the basic salary of 35K is offered, so the OTE could be much higher.

Position involves:
Discovering and engaging with new customers for the company through a combination of cold calling, research, and your own network of contacts.
Onboarding new customers successfully by liaising with our customer services, transport and finance departments.
Managing accounts, providing high levels of customer service, and developing the range of products supplied to them.
Skills/Requirements:
Sales experience in the food industry an advantage.
Prior direct sales experience advantageous.
May be suited to someone with experience within the wider food industry.
A passion for food, ingredients, and people.
Great customer service.
