Sales Manager
to lead and develop our growing (7-strong) sales function. This an exciting opportunity for someone to join a forward thinking, hungry, and exceptionally ambitious business who are leading the way in an industry that continues to enjoy healthy double-digit growth year over year.
About the Role:
This is a
hands-on leadership role
, not a direct sales position. You'll lead a talented sales department of seven (& growing) - including five HQ-based eCommerce salespeople and two remote bespoke sauna sales specialists.
You'll report directly to the
Commercial Director
, working closely with the CEO and MD, and collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, technical, and operations teams.
This role is split roughly
50% team management
and
50% processes, systems, and performance improvement
. You'll be responsible for managing people, refining workflows, and driving efficiency through data and CRM insights - ensuring the sales function is both high-performing and scalable.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, coach, and mentor a 7-strong sales team across two sales functions (bespoke project sales and eCommerce sales).
Manage and oversee the migration from our existing CRM (Streak) to
HubSpot Sales CRM
, ensuring successful adoption and continuous optimisation.
Build and maintain clear dashboards, reports, and KPIs to monitor performance, conversion rates, and sales efficiency.
Design, document, and refine sales processes, systems, and SOPs to ensure clarity, consistency, and accountability.
Drive accountability and instil a high-performance sales culture through structured coaching and clear goal-setting.
Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of sales staff as the team continues to grow.
Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure seamless communication and delivery from enquiry to installation.
Provide regular performance reports and insights to the Commercial Director, with occasional involvement from the CEO and MD.
Maintain and develop Finnmark's friendly, consultative, and customer-first sales culture.
About You:
5+ years' proven sales management experience
, leading and developing teams of 5+ salespeople.
MUST have Strong hands-on experience with HubSpot Sales CRM
-- including setup, process design, reporting, and optimisation.
Experience in
low-volume, high-value sales
(50k-250k, long lead times), as well as
high-volume, lower-value sales
(1k-15k) would be beneficial.
Analytical, data-driven, and detail-oriented -- comfortable drilling into CRM data and process detail.
Experienced in designing and implementing efficient sales workflows, targets, and team structures.
A confident, motivational leader who is a good human at their core.
Extremely IT literate, coupled with excellent communication skills.
Collaborative and adaptable, able to work across departments and manage hybrid/remote team members.
Full-time, on-site role based at our Spennymoor, Durham HQ.
Genuine enthusiasm for wellness and the sauna industry is a bonus.

40k - 45k base salary + bonus (OTE 70k+)
