Job Summary

We are seeking driven and experienced Sales Managers to support our recent expansion and contribute to our sustained growth. Reporting to the Directors, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and achieving pre-agreed financial targets for the supply of grain cleaning equipment, grain driers, handling equipment, and silos. The primary focus will be on securing contracts with co-operatives, merchants, industrial clients (such as breweries, distilleries, and seed processors), and establishing relationships with agricultural dealer trade to generate leads.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities within the target market segments.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets for grain cleaning equipment, grain driers, handling equipment, and silos.
  • Identify and engage with potential customers, including co-operatives, merchants, industrial clients, and agricultural dealer trade.
  • Conduct site measurements to accurately assess customer requirements.
  • Prepare quotations and proposals and effectively close sales.
  • Provide excellent customer after-care and support.
  • Maintain and expand a contact base while nurturing positive relationships with end-user clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate project implementation and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Proven track record in field sales, demonstrating the ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Knowledge of mechanical engineering, grain drying, bulk materials handling equipment, and/or storage is highly advantageous.
  • Strong appointment management and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated with a high level of initiative and drive to achieve targets.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building long-term relationships.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Familiarity with CAD software is preferred.
