First Grade International Ltd is the UK based office for a Singaporean owned business with a reputation as a market leader in food ingredient importing/distribution globally. Due to the rapid expansion of our business, we are seeking an experienced B2B Sales Manager to be responsible for key account management, expanding and maintaining business in the Uk and Europe. You will enhance our team, maintain existing and develop new accounts, support the expansion and promote the range of ingredients we supply to customers. This is an excellent career development opportunity, liaising with UK and International customers which will involve both UK and overseas travel.
You will have a minimum of 5 years' proven record of experience working in a fast-moving Sales environment, preferably in food or commodity trading. A high level of education with a minimum of 5 GCSEs grades A- C including Math and English, 3 A Levels grade A- C or a Level 3 equivalent qualification (or equivalents). A Degree level qualification is desirable. You will possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills including a high standard of verbal and written communication. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, is required. A full, valid, UK driving license is essential.
The successful candidate will be trained in the First Grade way, including, but not limited to, a grounding knowledge of the business, customer communications, providing commodity indications, monitoring product forecasts, achieving targets, processing contracts, tracking commodity pricing.
