We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team at Bridgend Aggregates Quarry, specialising in sand, gravel, hard rock and ready-mix concrete. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in growing our customer base and build strong industry relationships.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, knowledge of quarrying materials and a proven track record in sales management. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing sales strategies and ensuring exceptional customer service. Your ability to communicate effectively will be key to achieving our sales objectives.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company targets.
Represent the quarry at client meetings, site visits, and industry events.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in construction, civil engineering and related sectors.
Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare reports for senior management.
Foster strong relationships with clients through excellent communication and customer service ensuring excellent service and repeat business.
Manage time effectively to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Maintain accurate administrative records related to sales activities.
Experience
Proven track record in sales, ideally within the aggregates, concrete, or construction materials industry.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong phone etiquette.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and confident working independently.
Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to clients.
Knowledge of quarry and ready-mix products advantageous.
