The Role
We are seeking a commercially driven Sales Manager to lead and grow our gas and chemical portfolio. This is a hands-on leadership role, combining direct selling with the management of a small sales team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Commercial Director to set achievable yet ambitious sales targets, with a strong focus on acquiring new customers and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop a small sales team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
Identify and win new business opportunities within the UK gas and chemical markets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers through regular in-person visits and virtual meetings.
Collaborate with the Commercial Director to set and track sales targets.
Work closely with supply chain, marketing, and commercial teams to align sales strategy with operational capabilities and market opportunities.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing to maintain a competitive edge.
Represent Blended Products at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
About You
Proven track record in B2B sales, ideally within the gas and chemical sector.
Experienced in both new business development and account growth.
Confident managing and motivating a sales team while actively selling.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the adaptability to seize new opportunities.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both in person and online.
Willingness to travel regularly within the UK.
