Benson Signs, part of LPW Group, are a Liverpool based sign maker established in 1969 who have built up a reputation as one of the UK's leading sign specialists.

We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Sales Manager to help us maintain and expand upon our existing clientele. This candidate will cover all aspects of signage in a cradle to grave approach on behalf of the company and the customer managing and leading a team of 8.

The goal is to deliver projects on time & within budget and maximise growth and opportunities. This is to coincide with maintaining our core features of the business, manufacturing signage, feeding the factory and its departments. We have a strong base of clients to work with and maintaining relationships is paramount, whilst continuing to expand and develop new customers for further growth.

Main Aims



To support and manage the relationship between Benson Signs and some of it's key clients. In addition to looking for new opportunities to grow sales within new and existing accounts.

Key Responsibilities



Lead the sales team made up of Sales Account & Project Managers - Making yourself availble to offer advice and guidance as necessary Oversee the activities of the company's key accounts including costings and oversee the project/installations to ensure good working relationships. Manage and grow client accounts by understanding their needs, identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling, and delivering exceptional customer service. Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and product development to ensure alignment and delivery of the final product to a high standard. Ensure customer satisfaction by building long term relationships with individuals at major clients. Ensure that customer complaints are dealt with and resolved to the mutual satisfaction for all concerned Organise or carry out site visits and surveys Brief installation teams to ensure that the teams fully understand what is required to install the job to the clients expectations. Follow up with a de-brief after installation to ensure that the job is complete or all information is collated to complete the job. Promote the company's products/services addressing and predicting clients' objectives by recommending standard and/or tailor-made specifications Arrange business meetings with prospective clients in new and existing markets with a view to building long-term relationships Ensure the company is meeting it's sales target each month escalating any issues to the MD where necessary. Report the monthly sales figures to the MD. Develop knowledge of the core principles of general signage to support with the Company's wider aims Keep up to date with industry changes

Minimum requirements



Proven Signage / shopfitting experience is essential Proven record as project manager, sales executive or other relevant role Proven sales track record with strong commercial awareness Full UK Driving Licence Experience in customer support Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software Market knowledge Communication and negotiation skills Ability to build rapport Time management and planning skills
