Sales Manager- Permanent role

Salary: up to \xc2\xa332,000 per annum DOE (plus commission scheme)

Location: Oxfordshire, across OSJCT care home locations

Hours of work: 37.5 per week

About the role:The key objective of this role is to be the sales individual responsible for driving and managing new sales in a priority OSJCT care home. You will be dedicated to a specific home at any one time, to help drive and support new enquiries, show rounds, and contract agreements.

This role will be officially based out of our Oxfordshire office, but will be very mobile, requiring travel primarily in the Oxfordshire region, with some potential travel into neighbouring counties. By working closely with the General Manager, Area Operations Manager and Regional Marketing Manager, along with the wider marketing and PR team, you will provide support in ensuring that a high level of awareness and positive reputational profile with the local community and key health/social care stakeholders is achieved.

You will be responsible for managing the new client enquiry pipeline and its conversion into admissions, supported by the Operations team to ensure the specified home reaches its budgeted occupancy and revenue targets. You will seek to continuously feed the enquiry pipeline of the specified home, making the most of every new enquiry and ensuring optimum conversion to long term permanent residents. You will work closely with central PR, communications and marketing colleagues to achieve successful outcomes that reflect the home\'s individual unique selling points.

Skills & Qualities for this role:

  • Commercially focused with strong analytical skills and evidence of working to and delivery of targets and KPIs.
  • Experience of sales techniques, understanding the customer journey and ways to improve conversion.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a wide group of stakeholders.
  • Clear, concise and impactful presentation and communication style on a one to one and large group basis.
  • Experience of completing financial assessments and contractual walkthroughs.
  • Self-motivated and target driven; can organise and manage effectively own workload and priorities.
  • Excellent customer service. Demonstrate genuine empathy with clients seeking good advice about care services.
  • Strong written English with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong numerical skills.
  • An interest in elderly people and their care.
  • Experience of planning and delivering stakeholder events, projects and activities involving 20+ people.
  • Proven negotiating and influencing skills to support positive change with colleagues in homes. Ability to use compelling arguments at customer events, seminars and community group discussions.
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and technology literate.
  • Experience using and analysing sales data.
