The Sales Manager for Telecom Datacenter is responsible for executing on sales strategies and development within area of responsibility. The Sales Manager is responsible for the budget within area of responsibility (UK and Ireland). Some of the main responsibilities are as below;
Responsible for Business Development and growth within segment Telecom, Datacenter and AC UPS
Identify key target potential customers and new business opportunities within Telecom, Datacenter and Edge Computing
Being accountable for achieving annual performance goals and growth
Prepare and follow up annual revenue, including reporting and forecasting
Managing customer visits and related affairs
Execute on sales strategies, profit targets, tactics and sales plans
Develop and build strong long term business relationships
Maintain business relationship with existing customers
Identify new sales opportunities and business partnerships
Manage and grow allocated accounts
Direct client interactions, presentations and market activities at conferences and exhibition
Maintain CRM database and business reports
Qualifications
Bachelor or Master within electrical & electronics engineering, sales administration or other relevant field.
Minimum of 5 years' experience from similar position, ideally within a power supply company or related telecom and/or datacentre background preferred.
DC Power and AC UPS technical knowledge.
Sales experience within B2B, Project business, Business Development.
Strong business development skills.
Customer service oriented and strong in business relationship building.
Strong planning, organizing and time management skills.
Good negotiation skills, attention to details, follow up and administration skills.
Proficient in written and verbal English.
Ability to present in a short, succinct but engaging manner.
Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint and electronic communication tools.
Maintaining and reporting CRM.
Good general understanding of local laws and regulations.
