JOB DESCRIPTION:

TITLE: Sales Manager

REPORT TO: Sales Director

THE ROLE

Sustainable Advantage has over 500 clients across all sectors throughout the UK. We specialise in mid-market companies with turnover of between \xc2\xa320M and \xc2\xa3100M. The primary role will be to cross sell/upsell our services across our three divisions by:
  • Maintain a database of all clients and services they take.
  • Attend new client close out meetings where the candidate will assess what can be cross sold.
  • Push internal consultants and or Account Managers for opportunities to cross sell/upsell.
  • Liaise with existing clients and internal specialist teams to introduce new products.
  • Prepare proposals and quotations.
  • Update sales activity, quotes and orders on CRM system.
  • Closing deal and obtain signed contract from clients.
There is no selling to new prospects as the candidate will be cross sell/upselling into existing clients that already take at least one service from Sustainable Advantage.

The candidate will be comfortable with short sales cycles and a high level of bid and closing activity.

The Sales Managers incentives will be geared towards cross selling/upselling recurring revenue contracts for our different services.

This is an office-based role in Hersham with the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis following completion of probation.

PERSONAL SPECIFICATION

ESSENTIAL

A track record of selling business services to mid-market customers.

Demonstrable experience of managing a sales pipeline, working autonomously with a systematic approach to qualifying leads and closing opportunities.

A genuine interest in developing a career with a business that is helping a wide variety of companies on a sustainability journey.

The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

PACKAGE

This depends on the experience of the candidate - base salary of \xc2\xa340,000 - \xc2\xa345,000 with on target earnings (OTE) of \xc2\xa355,000 - \xc2\xa360,000.
