Sales & Marketing Administrator

Job Description

We are an established, growing business in the commercial electronic security and life safety sector looking for a proactive Sales & Marketing Administrator to support our sales team. This is a key role that requires exceptional organisation, concise communication, and the ability to manage a variety of tasks with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities



Sales Support & Customer Communication

Act as a first point of contact for inbound customer enquiries Process customer sales orders Support the wider sales team by providing administrative assistance, including report generation, email correspondence and electronic document organisation. Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
Bid & Tender Coordination

Assist in preparing tender and bid submissions, and ensuring that the required information is gathered, formatted, and submitted on time. Monitor online tender portals daily for new opportunities Develop and maintain a library of compliance documents, Company information, and bid content Coordinate with internal teams to gather technical and commercial inputs
Marketing & External Liaison

Work with external marketing partners/agencies to support targeted campaigns, website updates, social media posts and content requests Prepare basic marketing materials, presentations, and customer facing materials Support organisation of trade events, exhibitions, and customer presentations
General Sales Administration

Produce administrative support to the sales team as required Assist with managing sales pipelines, tracking performance and preparing reports for monthly sales meetings. Produce clear, concise documentation and communication for both internal and external stakeholders
We are looking for someone who is:

Highly organised with strong attention to detail Clear, concise, and effective in written and verbal communication Comfortable working to deadlines and managing multiple priorities Experienced in a sales, admin or bid coordination role (security/technical industries a plus) Competent with MS Office and CRM systems Proactive, dependable, and commercially aware
