What you'll be doing?




Supporting the business and our divisional offices, our Head Office functions cover all departments from our Executive Board through to our support functions such as Group Design and Technical, HR, Health and Safety, IT, Sales and Marketing, Commercial, Procurement, Group Finance, Corporate Affairs, as well as Legal and Company Secretariat. We also have a specialised function - Barratt Partnerships.

Reporting to the Group Sales and Marketing Director, you will be responsible for delivering tactical research and analysis to investigate marketing, sales and care performance, equipping teams with actionable insights to embed data driven decision making into customer strategy. , . The Analytics Manager plays a key role in driving the strategic use of customer data to inform decisions, working with the GDO to ensure the CDP is setup to support Marketing use cases, as well as leading the creation and implementation of a measurement framework to help teams understand the incrementality and return on investment (ROI) of marketing activities. The Analytics manager will also work closely with Forecasting, Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to help implement tactical analysis from more strategic pieces of work

You will be expected to:

Leadership, Management, and Strategy:
Establish and implement a robust measurement framework that helps Marketing, sales and care teams to understand incrementality and ROI, this includes working with the teams to define KPIs and setting up measurement protocols. Lead development and implementation of a test and learn roadmap, working closely with the Omnichannel team to ensure that testing initiatives are joined up across channels, and adhere to best practice. Lead projects to implement changes to business processes that integrate data insights into sales, marketing, customer care strategies and operations. Support the GDO in managing relationships with third-party data providers to ensure the quality and relevance of third-party data feeding into the data platform. Work closely with the GDO to transition manual, repeated reporting over to GDO to be built in Power BI, as well as the redefinition of data analysis assets currently used within Sales and Marketing (decommissioning legacy assets where appropriate). Act as the primary liaison with the Group Data Office (GDO) to drive alignment in Customer Data management and reporting, ensuring all initiatives are joined up. Act as line manager to the Sales and Marketing Analytics team, establish a regular cadence to progress key projects, provide coaching to support ongoing professional development, discuss performance during monthly 1:1s. Keep informed on the latest industry trends and capabilities of existing applications used such as CDP, Real time marketing, identify opportunities to develop capabilities within existing tooling and the team itself.

Insights, Analytics, and Reporting:


Lead the Data and Analytics team to deliver research reports to address specific hypotheses related to marketing performance, work with teams across the Sales, Marketing and Customer Care to understand reporting requirements, oversee the analysis and documentation of findings. Ensure all reports and dashboards are presented in a clear and engaging way to deliver meaningful insight. Present data-driven insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders. Support senior leadership with ad-hoc reports to investigate marketing and business performance. Lead in the definition of use cases and embedding of Single View of Customer into business process to the adoption of insights and models built as part of SVOC into marketing and operations. Collaborate with GDO and Marketing teams to develop customer personas and segmentation documentation to enhance the targeting and personalisation of marketing campaigns. Work with internal teams to deliver ongoing brand performance tracking and customer research insights, this includes working with third parties to conduct customer surveys to investigate consumer behaviour and brand positioning, Lead the build, testing and maintenance of the lead scoring model to establish a Marketing Qualified Lead, working closely with the CRM & Automation Manager to ensure that model meets business requirements and is fit for purpose. Collaborate with the GDO to refine and enhance lead scoring models utilising Single View of Customer. Advise Marketing teams on best practice marketing metrics and data/performance visualisations. Support the GDO to deliver regular performance reports to understand campaign and channel performance, this includes communicate Marketing requirements, supporting set up of new Marketing data feeds. Set up and management of the Infinity call tracking system, ensure the system is set up correctly and providing ongoing reporting and analytics to call centre teams from call tracking data. Manage general reporting on KPIs for Marketing, sales and care such as (non-exhaustive list) lead follow up, mystery shopping and defect route cause analysis.


Customer Data Management:


Work with the Group Data Office (GDO) to ensure the quality and accuracy of customer data is maintained in the CDP to support specific Marketing use cases. Support channel activation by ensuring customer data and marketing segments are set up optimally for activation. Work closely with the Omnichannel team to audit how customer data is being fed into teams. Support the GDO to drive effective governance and maintenance of the CDP to ensure customer data is being used correctly by Marketing teams. Monitor the use of customer data by all teams, lead initiatives to drive data protection best practices.

What you'll need?




To be successful in the role, we are looking for:
Experience in Data Analytics within a marketing organisation. Ability to analyse use data insights to generate actionable recommendations. Strong understanding of marketing methodologies, performance measurement, and metrics. Strong understanding of Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and how to govern and activate customer data effectively. Proficient in data visualisation tools like Power BI. Proficient in data analysis techniques. Ability to convert data insights into engaging presentations with a clear narrative and actionable recommendations. Excellent stakeholder management with proven experience of effectively engaging with senior stakeholders. Knowledge of data governance, quality assurance, and best practices for data integrity.
