Job Description

Congleton Garden Machinery, founded in 1989, is a well-established and expanding retail business headquartered in Congleton, Cheshire. Internationally recognised for selling and hiring out horticultural, farming, forestry, equestrian, construction and all-terrain vehicle (quad bike) equipment and parts.

CGM offers in excess of 750k unique products across two core websites (www.mowersplus.co.uk and www.polarisquad.co.uk)

The company is currently undergoing a transformation which offers exciting opportunities for new team members

The Role:-



We are looking for a

Sales & Marketing Executive

who can promote our products and services, drive sales and build brand awareness

Key Responsibilities



Market research to identify customer needs, preferences and trends Creating and managing innovative marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels Using Mailchimp to manage customer relationships and analyse campaign performance Development of strategies to achieve business objectives such as brand visibility and driving demand Building and maintaining strong working relationships with existing and potential customers Tracking performance and activity against sales targets Development of sales strategies to achieve sales targets and identify new business opportunities Assessment of competitor activities Ensure all marketing activities are in line with brand guidelines and display brand consistency Working with Finance Manager to analysis sales trends and highlight areas of growth Manage marketing budget to ensure campaigns are cost effective and deliver a positive outcome Creation of videos/script and images - scheduling on to social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook/ Linked in Ensuring that supplier deadlines for number of posts are met

We are Looking For:-



Level 3 (or above) qualification in Sales & Marketing

Strong communication with both internal and external stakeholders Skilled at building rapport and negotiating deals Independent, driven, and results-focused, forward thinking A confident communicator who loves both generating leads and closing sales Good analytical skills to track campaign/market performance Experience in using social media marketing and content creation Strategic thinking to develop sales and marketing strategies that align with business goals Experience of CapCut, Cava,GMP,Chat GBT,Mailchimp and/or similar Good organisational and time keeping skills, strong work ethic
