The role:

As Sales & Marketing Executive, you will be a key member of our small, busy Sales & Marketing team and our growing partnership. You'll work across all aspects of our sales and marketing functions, helping us identify opportunities that will support our valuable business development activity, shaping our content presence and supporting strategic sales campaigns.



This will include supporting sales follow-up and bids/proposals, owning our library of sales documents, templates and tools and potentially undertaking direct sales data building and outreach. You will also work closely with our marketing manager to support the delivery of our digital content strategy and related marketing activities, including creative content writing, social media and brand building.



This is a truly varied role, with the opportunity for the right candidate to shape and grow the position alongside their own career and our business. As such, we are looking for a proactive person with strong initiative, creativity, energy and adaptability.



As an Afiniti Sales & Marketing Executive, your role will include:

Supporting the end-to-end business development process, from marketing lead generation and outbound sales data building through to bid and proposal writing Owning our library of sales opportunity follow-up artefacts, working with the marketing manager and account partners to continue building this with compelling case studies and useful assets Writing search-engine-optimised and thought leadership content for our websites to enhance our business and consultants' brands and generate inbound marketing leads Enabling the delivery of our social media strategy, including the creation of engaging posts, collaborating with consultants to drive their social media content and conducting social media performance analysis Helping to coordinate our internal comms, including maintaining and updating our intranet and creating internal audio and video content Conducting desk research to inform market insights, competitor analysis and lead generation Other ad hoc support for our Sales & Marketing function, including the creation of videos, sales emails, newsletters, awards submissions, events and presentation decks

As such, ideally you will bring:

2 years' business experience, preferably within a sales / marketing / communications function A relevant business / marketing / communications diploma/degree Superb verbal and written communication skills The ability to manage multiple priorities within time constraints and pivot between a variety of tasks Highly self-motivated with the confidence to work independently The ability to build credible business relationships, including with senior stakeholders to ensure timely completion of activity Strong attention to detail to ensure the highest quality of sales and marketing output An interest in and understanding of business management and how organisations operate A curious and enquiring mindset keen to continually learn

It will be advantageous if you also have:

An interest in data, analytics and research (experience using a CRM / analytics tools advantageous) Previous exposure to digital marketing, including theoretical or practical experience of SEO content writing A working knowledge of using social media channels for business purposes, esp. LinkedIn Capability in Microsoft 365 Suite (essential) and Adobe Creative Suite The confidence and initiative to proactively identify and suggest potential improvements
