About the Job:
We are looking for a Sales & Marketing Intern to help support the sales and marketing team and drive sales growth through effective marketing campaigns and B2B interactions. If you have proven marketing skills, sales experience, an excellent telephone and texting manner, and enjoy a target-driven environment with the benefit of a basic salary and excellent bonuses in the future, then we would love to hear from you to discuss further.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be confident, resilient, motivated, and target-driven. They will be an excellent all-round communicator with the ability to control conversations, build rapport, and handle objections. They will be well-versed in digital marketing principles and have a passion for helping fast-growing small businesses .succeed.
Duties:
- Support marketing plans to achieve sales targets
- Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify new sales opportunities
- Manage B2B relationships and partnerships to drive business growth
- Utilize Excel to track and report on marketing campaign sales performance, and keep accurate records of sales activities and client interactions
- Content Creation: Assist in the creation of engaging and creative content for various marketing channels, including blog posts, newsletters, and social media.
- Stay updated with industry developments and the competitive landscape
- Maintain an organised office environment to support sales and marketing operations such as storage and products.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets but not essential
- Driven, self-motivated, passionate, energetic, and proactive attitude
- A resilience to knock-backs and the ability to overcome objections
- The ability to learn, understand, and apply product knowledge
- Calm, controlled, and confident phone and text manner
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Familiarity with digital and social media management for brand promotion preferred
- Ability to understand market dynamics and consumer behavior
- Experience and/or knowledge in B2B sales and the beauty industry is desirable though not necessary
- The ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Has a "can do" attitude and loves to be challenged
- Is metrics-oriented, organized, and has a need to win
- Strong MS Office skills
