Job Description

Doordeals are predominantly an online retailer of timber doors. Established for 20+ years we have grown to become a leading independent retailer in this field.

We are looking to add a member to the team in order to assist in leading and motivating our sales office team in ensuring great service and success in our sales operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and advice to our clients, responding to enquiries in a timely and professional manner, and resolving customer issues with accuracy and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude and the ability to think quickly and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment. It is extremely important that the applicant has a high attention to detail and be able to prioritise their workload, whilst leading others to do the same.

Key areas:

Leading and motivating our sales office team. Overseeing and being heavily involved in daily sales operations and customer communications. Handling escalations and making sure every customer gets great service balanced with the needs of the business. Working with key departments in warehouse, logistics and finance to keep orders running smoothly. Working with external suppliers to ensure consistent and successful supply, delivery and problem resolution. Monitoring sales performance and reporting back to management. Assisting with product offering and information presented to customers. Driving improvements in systems, processes, and customer experience. Maintaining regular staff appraisals and ongoing development/training. Managing upwardly and assisting senior management with the direction of the business.
What we're looking for:

Previous experience managing or supervising a sales or customer service team. Great people skills and the ability to assist, train and motivate others. Organised, detail-focused, and comfortable under pressure. IT confident, with experience of CRMs/order systems. (Bonus) Knowledge of timber doors, joinery, or building materials.

Pay: From 28,000.00 per year
