Sales Office Team Leader
to support our internal sales operations and our external sales team.
The Role:
As
Sales Office Team Leader
, you'll support the day-to-day operations of our sales office and ensure our customers receive outstanding service. You'll play a key role in driving sales efficiency, improving processes, and supporting the achievement of company targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Team Support
Collaborate with the external sales team to understand customer needs and provide high-quality support.
Monitor and analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities.
Assist with the development and execution of sales strategies.
Develop a deep understanding of our products, including their features, benefits, and applications, to effectively communicate with customers.
Identify and pursue sales opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and other communication channels to generate leads and prospects.
Prepare and present price quotes, product information, and proposals to customers.
Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling products to existing customers, maximising revenue.
Office Administration
Conduct sales office administration activities ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
Maintain records of sales orders, invoices, and customer communication.
Maintain customer contracts for capital equipment
Support a positive, collaborative, and customer-focused work culture.
Customer Relations & Process Improvement
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
Ensure prompt and professional responses to customer enquiries and issues.
Identify and implement process improvements to streamline sales operations.
Collaborate with other departments to enhance cross-functional workflows.
What We're Looking For:
Experience in a
sales support
or
office supervisory
role.
Strong
leadership
,
communication
, and
organisational
skills.
Proficiency in
Microsoft Office
and
CRM systems
(e.g., Salesforce).
A
customer-focused
approach with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
(preferred but not essential).
Preferred:
Experience in
manufacturing
,
technical sales
, or
extrusion/capital equipment
markets.
