The Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated
Sales & Operations Manager
to lead our sales team and drive business growth. This is a dual-role position that combines
hands-on sales
with
team management and operational oversight
.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client relationships, developing new business opportunities, and leading a small but dynamic team to achieve sales targets and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales representatives, technicians, and support staff.
Drive sales of generators, power systems, and related electrical equipment.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, contractors, and suppliers.
Prepare quotations, negotiate contracts, and close deals to meet monthly and annual targets.
Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth coordination between sales, service, and logistics.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and identify new business opportunities.
Support marketing activities, including exhibitions, trade shows, and promotional campaigns.
Ensure all projects are delivered on time and within budget, maintaining high-quality standards.
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience in
selling generators, power systems, or industrial electrical equipment
.
Strong leadership or management experience within a sales or technical team.
Solid understanding of
diesel, gas, or hybrid generator systems
, including sizing, installation, and maintenance principles.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong business acumen and results-driven mindset.
Full UK driving licence (or equivalent, if applicable).
Desirable
Technical qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience with power distribution, UPS systems, or renewable energy products.
