As we continue to grow, we're looking for a capable, proactive manager to help lead our daily operations and drive sales forward.
Role Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Sales & Operations Manager to oversee daily operations, lead our sales activities, and support the company by turning strategic ideas into implemented actions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of team leadership, sales interaction, operational management, and problem solving.
As the central link between directors and the team, you'll ensure the business runs smoothly, efficiently, and profitably, while helping us continue to grow.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales Leadership
Lead sales activities and marketing across online, phone, and in-store channels
Manage and support retail sales staff
Handle trade enquiries and follow up processes
Improve sales conversion through better processes & training
Ensure product listings, pricing, and promotions are up to date
Track sales KPIs and report monthly performance
Operations Management
Oversee workshop schedules and engineer workload
Work closely with the Lead Engineer to ensure scooters are refurbished efficiently and on time
Manage stock flow
Implement new processes and systems to improve efficiency and profitability
Monitor parts usage, refurbishment costs, and workshop performance
Ensure the warehouse and retail space are well organised and compliant
Team Leadership
Provide daily guidance and leadership to engineers and retail staff
Run briefings and weekly progress meetings
Set clear expectations and ensure accountability
Support staff development and training
Foster a positive culture
Business Support & Implementation
Turn the companies ideas and strategies into actionable plans
Manage projects and process improvements
Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions
Provide regular operational updates to the director
Assist with forecasting and stock planning where needed
What We're Looking For
Experience in a sales focused role (retail or product based sales preferred)
Experience supervising or managing colleagues
Great organisational and operational management skills
Strong communication and people skills
Confident, proactive, and able to take ownership of tasks
Comfortable making decisions and solving day-to-day problems
Ability to balance hands on work with high-= level coordination
Competent with basic IT systems (email, stock systems, CRM, spreadsheets)
Bonus (not essential):
Experience in technical, workshop, or equipment based industries
Experience improving processes or implementing new systems
Knowledge of mobility equipment (training provided if not)
