Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Sales Order Processor to join our Sales team in Bournemouth. This role is vital in ensuring efficient processing of customer orders and maintaining high standards of service that reflect our company's commitment to excellence. Based in Bournemouth, the successful candidate will contribute to our mission of delivering quality building plastics across the country.
You will be responsible for accurately quoting and processing customer orders using all systems available. You will also be required to help our customers with any queries they may have with regards to their sales orders and our vast range of products and services.
Responsibilities:
Handling the following types of orders or quotes:
Aluminium orders/quotes.
Window Schedules.
Arched window and Rockdoor frames.
Conservatory roofs.
General enquiries.
Process remakes for the above.
In addition you will be responsible for:
Credit requests/invoice queries.
Ensuring you work towards achieving company KPI's
Effective chasing of quotes and enquiries made through the technical processing team.
Meeting the needs of GAP's customers in terms of timescales taken to quote/process orders.
Working to internal deadlines and cut-offs.
Ensuring that all order/quotes/schedules are handled in a timely fashion.
Archiving all relevant customer communication in the shared folders.
Ensuring that customers are kept informed of the progress of their orders/quotes at each stage thus building relationships with the customer wherever possible.
Communicating with customers and colleagues via e-mail and telephone in a professional manner ensuring that information is fact-based and not anecdotal.
Ensuring that concise log of all orders are recorded in the appropriate manner
You:
Excellent Communication Skills
A background in customer service & sales for a technical product
Good literacy and numeracy are both essential
Must have a can-do attitude
Must have good computer skills
Self-motivation and have a drive to succeed and do well is essential in this role
Demonstrating a customer focused attitude.
Technical Processing Team Members should be friendly, helpful, and value the customers' requirements and work towards them.
