We are seeking an order taker / sales processor to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of customer orders, contributing to the overall satisfaction and smooth operation of our business. Duties
Receive and review customer orders via various channels, including email, phone, and online portals
Verify order details for accuracy, including product specifications, quantities, and delivery information
Enter order data into the company's database or order management system with precision
Monitor order progress and communicate updates or issues to customers promptly
Maintain organised records of all processed orders for audit and reporting purposes
Assist in resolving any discrepancies or issues related to orders in collaboration with relevant departments
Support inventory management by updating stock levels as necessary
Requirements
Proven experience in order processing, customer service, or administration is preferred
Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in using order management software and MS Office applications
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
Good numerical skills and attention to accuracy
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Prior experience in logistics or supply chain management is a plus but not essential
Working Hours & Environment
Typically late Sunday 4pm - 9pm, Monday to Thursday 11am - 9pm
Office-based within the TFS depot but maybe some flexibility around working from home at some times for the right candidate
