Central food service LTD are an established and growing business in the food distribution sector supplying over 800 customers within a 100 mile radius from our Stoke On Trent depot.
As we continue to grow, we are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Sales Order Processor to join our team and play an important role in ensuring smooth and efficient order processing.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately take and process customer orders via telephone, email, or WhatsApp.
Provide excellent customer service, ensuring queries are handled quickly and professionally.
Check product availability and communicate lead times or alternatives where necessary.
Liaise with warehouse and delivery teams to ensure orders are fulfilled correctly and on time.
Maintain accurate records of orders and customer details.
Market research and up-selling products based on the findings of your research.
Support the team with general administration when required.
Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in a customer service, sales support, or order processing role (preferred but not essential).
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
