Job Description

Looking for jewellery partners with customer service and communication and sales negotiation skills, product knowledge and passion, attention to detail and accuracy, and teamwork and collaboration skills, you may also need a high school diploma or equivalent, previous experience in retail sales or customer service, certification or training in jewellery or gemology, and/or a license or permit to sell certain types of jewellery. These skills and qualifications will help you interact with customers in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner. You will be able to identify and meet customer needs while persuading them to buy or upgrade their purchase. Additionally, you will be familiar with the different types of jewellery, their materials, quality, value, and care. You will be able to handle jewellery with care and precision while ensuring that transactions are processed correctly and securely. Finally, you will be able to work effectively with other jewellery sales associates and store managers, supporting each other in achieving sales goals and ensuring customer satisfaction.

DUTIES and responsibilities of a jewellery sales associate include greeting and engaging customers, understanding their needs, presenting and demonstrating jewellery options, CUSTOM JEWELLERY DESIGNS, investments, addressing concerns or objections, processing payments, providing after-sales service, maintaining inventory and following store or line policies.
SKILLS and qualifications needed for a successful jewellery sales associate include customer service, sales and negotiation skills, product knowledge, attention to detail, and teamwork skills. Previous experience in retail or customer service may be required.
