The Salesperson is responsible for managing inbound and outbound sales activities, nurturing leads, converting qualified opportunities, and supporting the broader sales function in achieving revenue targets. The role requires strong communication skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to build and maintain productive client relationships in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Execute outbound prospecting activities to generate new business opportunities (calls, emails, social selling, and targeted campaigns).
Manage inbound enquiries, qualify leads, and progress them through the sales pipeline.
Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities using the company's CRM system.
Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales documentation aligned with customer requirements.
Achieve monthly and quarterly KPIs, including revenue, call activity, and lead conversion metrics.
Maintain a detailed understanding of the company's products, market positioning, and competitive landscape.
Provide accurate sales forecasts, market feedback, and insights to support commercial planning.
Skills and Experience
Essential
Proven success in internal sales, telesales, or business development roles.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple leads simultaneously.
Evidence of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Desirable
Experience within workwear or uniform sectors.
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office or equivalent productivity tools.
