The Team You Will Join





The UK Sales Quality and Performance team plays a pivotal role in delivering insights and supporting data-driven decision-making across our Employee Benefits (EB) and Individual Protection (IP) sales teams. In this small but dynamic team, we are dedicated to ensuring our sales teams and distribution partners provide exceptional customer value while maintaining top-notch quality. Our primary focus is to identify key insights for the sales teams, monitor their activities, and discover ways to boost sales quality and drive account growth.



This team closely collaborates with various departments, including sales, risk, compliance, product & proposition, MI, and operations. This gives us a unique opportunity to drive success across the business and create objectives that fall outside of our BAU.



A crucial aspect of the UK Sales Quality and Performance team is supporting the IP and EB sales teams by providing data-driven insights to enhance account relationships. We are responsible for understanding, monitoring, and developing metrics and processes to maintain high-quality standards and customer outcomes across both EB and IP. Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing regular updates to the sales teams is crucial to our team, and we have many opportunities for improvement and to recommend solutions. Furthermore, providing training and support to sales team members on data analytics tools and techniques will help them utilise data effectively in their roles.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales Team Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. This Sales Quality and Performance Analyst role is crucial in providing insight support and facilitating data-driven decision-making across the EB (Employee benefits) and IP (Individual Protection) sales teams.



As the Sales Quality and performance executive, you will be part of a small team who will play a crucial role in ensuring our sales teams and distribution partners deliver exceptional customer value while maintaining top-notch quality. Your focus will be identifying key insights for the sales teams, monitoring activities, and finding ways to boost sales quality and ensuring account business plans are fit for purpose and updated regularly.

How You'll Help Us Build a Confident Future (Key Responsibilities)



The Sales Quality and performance executive will report directly to the UK Sales Quality and Performance Manager, working collaboratively with sales, risk, compliance, product & proposition, MI and operations among other business areas. Account Management & Business Planning: Develop, manage, and own comprehensive business plans for key and strategic accounts, working with the HoS, SQPM, AE/AM to ensure correct level of support. Conduct regular account meetings, track key actions, and ensure follow-up on performance metrics. Support both IP and EB Sales Teams in maintaining and enhancing account relationships through data-driven insights. Quality management and control: Understand, monitor and develop metrics, process and action plans to manage, improve and promote high quality standards and customer outcomes, across both EB and IP, utilising persistency, conversion rates, outstanding balances, lapse and replace, to make informed and appropriate decisions and escalations. Insight Support: Collaborate with the EB and IP sales teams to gather, analyse, and interpret sales data. Provide actionable insights to drive sales strategies and improve performance. Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilise data analytics tools to support decision-making processes. Ensure that sales strategies are informed by accurate and up-to-date data. Sales Data Management: Maintain and update sales databases, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. Help generate regular reports to track sales performance and identify trends. Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination. Support the integration of sales data with other business functions. Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates to the sales teams. Identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions. Training and Support: Provide training and support to sales team members on data analytics tools and techniques. Help them understand and utilize data effectively in their roles. Support for UK Sales Quality and Performance Manager: Assist the UK Sales Quality and Performance Manager in developing and implementing SFDC (Salesforce.com) strategy. Drive the utilization and development of SFDC tools to enhance sales quality and performance.

What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)



Proven experience in sales support, data analysis, or a similar role. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills. Proven experience in sales management or quality assurance within a regulated sector or a related field. Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements (ideally Consumer Duty), ensuring adherence to industry regulations and company policies. In-depth knowledge of sales processes, techniques, and best practices, particularly in insurance. Commercial experience - reporting on hard numbers Negotiating and influencing with intermediaries and internal stakeholders, successfully delivering complex solutions Proficiency in using CRM systems, sales analytics tools, and other relevant software applications.

What Can Give You an Edge (Additional Skills)



Experience with CRM systems and sales databases. Knowledge of the EB and IP sales processes. Familiarity with data visualization tools.
