As a

Sales Relationship

Manager

at IFX,

you'll play a key role in driving growth and re-engaging our network of Corporate Services clients.

You'll combine strategic relationship management with a results-driven sales approach to reactivate dormant accounts, nurture lasting partnerships, and contribute directly to IFX's revenue success.

This is a strategic, client facing role where you will play a key part in driving growth, building relationships, and shaping the future of our FX offering.




Responsibilities




Client acquisition




Actively call dormant accounts, prospects and network contacts to generate qualified leads and sales pipeline. Re-build strong relationships with dormant clients to understand their FX and payment requirements and deliver customised solutions. Where required attend networking and client events Where required win new business through cold calling/networking

Negotiation and closure:




Engage in negotiations with prospects, addressing concerns and adapting proposals to meet client needs. Close deals and ensure all contractual elements are in place. Support the re-onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition onto our platform for clients

Growth and retention:




Provide ongoing consultative support to clients regarding FX market insights, trends, and the implications for their currency exposure.

Trade Execution




Execute deliverable FX trades accurately and efficiently, ensuring adherence to compliance and regulatory standards. Manage trade settlements, confirmations, and other post-trade activities to ensure smooth, accurate, and timely processes. Understand each client's FX exposure risk and recommend risk management strategies to optimize outcomes. Book Market Orders in times of volatility

Market Analysis




Stay up to date on FX market trends, central bank policies and geopolitical risks Translate technical and fundamental market analysis to clients Provide timely updates, summaries and briefings where required

Risk Awareness




Recognise how currency movements impact revenues, costs, margins and client portfolios



Success Measures





Success in this role will be measured by:


Revenue Growth:

Achieving monthly and annual FX revenue targets.

Client Acquisition:

Number of new meetings and corporate clients onboarded within the set timeframe.

Pipeline Development:

Quality and value of opportunities generated and progressed from dormant accounts.



Requirements




Proven track record of developing new business and meeting/exceeding sales targets within the deliverable FX market. Solid sales experience with the ability to manage an end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting to closing. Experience in negotiating contracts with a focus on creating value for both the client and the company. Some experience in FX dealing, corporate banking, or a related role such as account management or financial sales. Knowledge of deliverable FX products, trading platforms, and market dynamics. Excellent relationship management skills with a client-first approach. Proficiency in trading platforms and financial software. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite A true team player with a winning mentality and strong work ethic committed to continuous improvement and high performance Adaptable, tenacious and flexible who is able to perform under pressure
