As a Sales Representative at MDC Fire Doors, you will play a key role in driving business growth through effective client engagement, technical knowledge, and solution-based selling. Your fire door expertise will ensure clients receive compliant, safe, and high-quality door solutions tailored to their needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate and manage leads across construction, facilities management, and commercial sectors.
Provide expert advice and technical guidance on fire door products and fire safety compliance (BS 476, BS EN 1634, etc.).
Build and maintain strong client relationships, from initial inquiry to post-sales support.
Work closely with our production and compliance teams to ensure accurate product delivery.
Attend industry events or site visits, when required.
Requirements:
Proven experience in sales, ideally within the fire door, fire safety, or construction industry.
In-depth knowledge of fire door standards, regulations, and certifications (e.g., IFCC, BM TRADA, BS/EN standards).
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to understand technical specifications and explain them clearly to clients.
Self-motivated with a results-driven attitude.
Valid UK driving license (if field-based).
