We are looking to recruit a Retail Sales Supervisor to join our small team.
We have one 16-hour a week position, and the successful candidate will be required to work every Saturday as part of an established rota.
Overall purpose of the role, you will be responsible for providing an excellent shopping experience for every customer, being able to demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of all our products providing expert advice on all aspects of foot health, measuring and fitting. retail experience preferred but full training is given.
You will be responsible for opening and closing the shop, the day-to-day cleanliness of the sales floor, making sure it is kept maintained throughout the day to a very high standard and cashing up at the end of the day.
You will be responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of the stockroom including stock rotation and react to consumer demands.
Checking off deliveries and raising any discrepancies immediately to the manager. You will help in managing with the daily operations and objectives set in store and you will be flexible in approach to support the shop at peak trading times. You will be confident in dealing with all types of consumer interaction including booking fitting appointments as well as offering personal measuring sessions, being at ease dealing with all types of children including those with special needs. Working to an appointment system during peak trading times you will need to be able to effectively manage your time and priorities.
A flexible approach to working hours working remotely and any other changes to support the business as and when needed.

Be fully conversant on foot health, measuring and fitting, providing correct advice to parents or customers on their purchases
Have an extensive knowledge of all products, features and benefits
Deal with complaints in a professional manner
Assisting and supporting those families with any special needs requirements
To be fully conversant and confident with opening and closing procedures including start and end of day till procedures
Check stock deliveries and notify the manager of any discrepancies and shortages immediately
Put away stock in correct area of your stock room, ensure new styles are displayed at the correct price on receipt of delivery always maintaining a neat & tidy stockroom
To comply with all Health & Safety regulations as laid out by the shop
