Founded over 30 years ago, The Rooflight Co is a successful, employee-owned Cotswolds business with approximately 40 employees, designing and manufacturing rooflights and roof windows for the UK construction / specification market.

The Sales Support Administrator plays a vital role in supporting The Rooflight Co's sales and customer service functions. Working part-time (5 hours per day, Monday to Friday), this role ensures that customer enquiries are handled efficiently, quotes are prepared accurately, and the sales team is fully supported in delivering an exceptional customer experience.

You will act as a first point of contact for incoming calls and emails, manage quote generation, and assist with day-to-day sales administration. As part of the wider Sales Support team, you'll also help maintain accurate records in the CRM system and contribute to a smooth, efficient sales process from enquiry to order.

The Role and Accountabilities...

Customer Enquiry Handling:



Act as the first point of contact for inbound customer calls and emails. Qualify enquiries, answer product and service questions, and direct complex queries to the appropriate sales or technical team members. Deliver excellent customer service by providing timely and accurate information to all customers and prospects.

Quote Generation & Sales Administration:



Prepare and issue customer quotes accurately and promptly, ensuring all details and pricing are correct. Support Sales Representatives with administrative tasks, including follow-up documentation, CRM updates, and order tracking. Assist in managing bronze-tier or smaller-scale projects through to completion. Maintain organised records of all quotes, correspondence, and project updates.

CRM & Process Support:



Ensure all customer and project data is correctly entered and maintained in the CRM system. Support the team in adopting best practices for CRM use and contribute to ongoing process improvements. Help identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy across sales operations.
Qualifications and Experience...

Essential:



Previous experience in a sales administration, customer service, or office support role. Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Confident communicator (both written and verbal) with a friendly, professional manner. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and prioritise effectively in a busy environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Outlook) and comfortable working with CRM systems. A proactive, team-oriented approach and willingness to support others as needed.

Desirable:



Experience in the construction, architecture, or manufacturing sectors. Knowledge of CRM software and familiarity with quoting or order management systems. An interest in heritage or premium design-led building products.

Salary: 26,228 per annum, pro rata
