We are looking for bright, progressive individuals to join our team. Working in client services you will play a vital role supporting our sales operations. As the first point of contact for our customers you will be required to handle and field general enquiries, be responsible for sales and events support administration, delivering excellent customer service to our clients in dental laboratories and surgeries in the UK.
The role is varied, offering progression within 12 months for the right candidate and would suit those eager to learn with the self-motivation to advance quickly. The position will have full exposure to staff at all levels with your impact and approach to tasks immediately visible and would suit a quick learner, with strong communication skills and confidence to work on their own initiative. We are a small team and run a tight ship made up of strong individuals and your integrity and reliability as a team member is of the utmost importance.
Ideal for someone who lives locally or who can easily get to Macclesfield. Although training will be provided, experience in customer services and business administration is preferable.
Key Responsibilities
Acts as first point of contact via telephone, email, greeting visitors in a courteous and professional manner
Manage and monitor the company mailbox with team members, dealing with enquiries effectively and efficiently, directing queries to correct channels, following up and resolving queries in a timely manner.
Managing sales orders from entry through to invoicing on our internal ERP system SAP B1
- raising sales orders, delivery bills, invoices and taking payment
- pick and pack orders, ensuring goods and batches are present and correct
- checking team members orders, ensuring goods and batches are present and correct prior to dispatch
- ensure correct package types and specific time requests are applied for domestic and international shipments
- follow up all outstanding sales back orders, keeping client informed of lead times, relaying all relevant updates
Product knowledge
Assist in checking in of goods and services
Events preparation and support working alongside Project Manager, meet & greet ensuring a high level of customer service
Data entry, updating internal records, entering new clients, new stock items, updating client and stock profiles, generating specific price lists for specific product lines
Stock management -understanding and adhering to stock requirement levels, date rotation, ensuring stock is organised, appropriately, securely stored and accessible to all team members
Co-ordinate with couriers any associated enquiries regarding logistics (outbound/inbound), replenish mail packs, labels, track and trace ensuring outbound and inbound deliveries reach their destination, resolving any queries and paying any duties or import fees required to release held items in customs, obtaining quotes where required

Proficient with computer systems including Outlook, Word, Excel and ERP systems is desirable, but not essential
