This is a hands-on, varied role at the heart of our sales operation. You'll support the sales team, keep customer orders and enquiries moving, and help deliver a level of service that matches the quality and reputation of our products. You'll play a key role in supporting our B2B customer base, working closely with trade customers, contractors, and business clients who rely on speed, accuracy, and expertise. Trusted to handle enquiries professionally and understand commercial priorities, you'll help build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships. Key Responsibilities
Supporting the sales team with day-to-day administration to keep operations running smoothly
Preparing, issuing, and following up accurate customer quotations
Processing orders and maintaining accurate systems and records
Handling customer enquiries via phone, email, and Freshdesk with professionalism and pace
Supporting Click & Collect / trade counter queries, collections, returns, and order updates
Resolving delivery and service issues by working closely with warehouse, logistics, and technical teams
Escalating complaints and complex issues appropriately, with clear communication throughout
Capturing customer feedback and suggesting improvements to strengthen the customer experience
Assisting with reporting and basic data analysis (Excel) to support team performance and decision making
Supporting account managers with purchase orders, quotes, and admin as required
Skills & Experience Needed
We're looking for someone who brings both capability and attitude. You don't need to know everything on day one - but you do need to be the kind of person who takes initiative, learns quickly, and cares about doing things properly.
1+ years' experience in a customer service, sales support, or office administration role (B2B experience strongly preferred)
Confident handling a high volume of enquiries and tasks in a fast-paced environment
Strong organisation and prioritisation skills, with excellent attention to detail
Clear, professional communication skills - comfortable on the phone and in writing
A proactive mindset: you spot problems early, take ownership, and follow through
Comfortable using systems and spreadsheets; basic Excel skills for reporting/tracking
Resilient and solutions-focused - able to stay calm and effective under pressure
Freshdesk (or similar ticketing/CRM tools) experience is a plus
