We're looking for an enthusiastic Sales Support Co-ordinator to join our growing team at one of the UK's leading sewing machine retailers, serving customers both online and in store at our sales centre in Melmerby.

We pride ourselves on providing high quality products, expert knowledge and exceptional customer service to hobbyists, professionals and sewing enthusiasts across the UK.

About the role

In this varied, customer-focused position, you will play a key part in supporting our sales and service teams in delivering an exceptional customer experience. A key element of the role includes managing the full part-exchange process--from initial enquiry and machine evaluation to coordinating logistics and preparing clear, friendly communications that guide customers every step of the way.

You don't need prior experience with sewing machines; we'll give you all the training you need. What matters most is your desire to learn, your ability to stay organised, and your determination to deliver a service customers really appreciate.

Key Responsibilities

Support customers with product enquiries via phone, email, and live chat Offer product advice on sewing machines, accessories and parts Manage and oversee the full part-exchange process Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, suppliers and colleagues Work closely with the sales and warehouse teams to ensure a smooth purchasing journey Maintain accurate records and update internal systems Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment
