We are now seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Support Executive to join our growing team.
The Role
As a Sales Support Executive, you will play a key role in Customer Service, the smooth processing of customer orders and supporting the sales function. This is a varied role requiring excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service, ensuring timely responses and clear communication.
First point of call to answer phones
Accurately process customer orders and communicate with customers and the sales team to confirm all details.
Ensure timely order dispatch by coordinating with the warehouse and relevant teams.
Monitor sales order inbox daily, review incoming orders, and handle customer queries professionally.
Allocate stock based on Batch Numbers/BBE and manage stock integrity by clearing historic orders.
Handle EDI orders and upload requirements with speed and accuracy.
Adjust and manage Brakes orders using the iSupply system.
Organise collections and logistics for returned or collected goods.
Liaise with the Credit Controller to resolve any invoice holds or account queries.
Process pro forma, direct delivery, and supplementary invoices accurately and promptly.
Conduct weekly checks of uninvoiced orders and manage credit reversals when required.
Assist the sales team with order processing, customer contact, and troubleshooting support.
Provide training and onboarding guidance to new staff as needed.
Carry out any other duties as required by the Financial Controller or to support the Executive Assistant.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
Organised, accurate, and detail-oriented
Proactive and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
Experienced in order processing, invoicing, and customer service (experience with EDI systems and iSupply is a bonus)
Confident in using internal systems and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
