The Role
We are seeking a confident, client-facing
Sales Surveyor
to join our team. This hybrid role combines customer relationship-building with technical site surveys. You will be the first face many clients see responsible for understanding their needs, capturing accurate site details, and ensuring our projects get off to the best possible start.
You'll work closely with our estimating team to translate surveys into clear, accurate proposals. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys both talking to people and getting on-site, tape measure in hand.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct site surveys for new kitchen and refurbishment projects (measurements, photos, condition checks).
Build rapport with clients on-site, asking the right questions to understand their needs.
Identify opportunities to upsell additional services or highlight potential risks early.
Produce clear survey reports for our estimating team, ensuring no detail is missed.
Support the sales process by attending client meetings and presenting One Stop as a trusted partner.
Follow up with clients after surveys to maintain strong relationships.
Travel to sites nationwide (occasional overnight stays required).
About You
Confident communicator with a natural ability to build trust.
Comfortable in both client-facing and site-based environments.
Practical, with good attention to detail and basic technical understanding (measurements, drawings, layout).
Organised -- able to capture and relay information accurately.
Previous experience in sales, surveying, kitchens, building, or fit-out is desirable but not essential.
Full UK driving licence required.
