Selling the Clockwork Removals brand to ensure that you are delivering profitable growth for the branch. Developing relationships, responding to customer enquiries and proactively marketing and selling Clockwork Removals services. Responsible for arranging and executing the removals for the company, along with quoting for current clients who are offering repeat business.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Sales Surveying
Develop sales in line with the branch sales and marketing plan in the domestic, commercial, international and insurance areas.
Meet and exceed all Sales activity conversion, margin and revenue targets on a weekly basis
React to leads and enquiries contacting the branch
Expected to formulate a suitable removal plan bases on the information obtained from the survey
Proactively canvass and call on target accounts as defined by the Branch Manager
Account manages existing customers already with the branch
Work with the Operations team to establish appropriate service standards and to proactively and to proactively seek service improvements
Build good relationships with customers, offering a full range of customer support and services
Provide accurate scoping and costing for moves on Moveware within 14 days
Identify and develop target markets via a range of marketing within 14 days
Identify and develop target markets via a range of marketing initiatives as directed by the Branch Manager
Provide advice on international moves
Contribute to Branch Sales strategy and growth as set out by the Branch Manager
Move Management
Writing up quotations and doing follow ups
Booking Confirmations/Administration and Customer Liaison
Once the job is booked in you will start with an introductory phone-call and email, you will then be fully responsible for the customer from this point onwards
Removal Preparation and Execution, making sure that all aspects of the removal is discussed with the customer and agreed internally:
a. Arranging box deliveries and collections
b. Raising invoices and taking payments
c. Arranging parking by borough
d. Liaising with the General Manager to ensure all crew and vehicle requirements will be met
e. Inputting information onto Crew Sheets with instructions for the team
f. Arranging extra services - pianos' removal/hoist/handymen etc
Assisting with Complaints and Queries (Post Move)
a. Sending follow up emails to customers, including settling outstanding balances and sending out review requests
b. Monitoring customer feedback
c. Weekly tracker for customer reviews
d. Gathering information from clients regarding insurance claims and provide to the Branch Manager
e. Contesting parking tickets
f. Cost center analysis for worksheet to be completed for all complete moves
Storage Management
a. Setting up initial storage access including accounting and invoicing
b. Handling out storage request, as and when required
Experience and Knowledge:
Previous, field sales experience B2C preferably
Excellent verbal communication, presentation skills and writing proficiency
Experience in the UK Domestic Removals market a bonus (but not a requirement)
Good negotiating and influencing skills
Time management skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Flexibility, in order to respond to changing business needs
Excellent attention to detail
PC literate - Outlook, Word, Excel and Google
Skills and Qualifications:
Numeric and analytical
Possess good literacy skills
PC literate
Familiar with Microsoft Office software and Google Workspace
