About the Role



We are seeking a highly organised and proactive

Sales Team Administrator

to join our growing team. In this role, you will be the central point of coordination for our project sales department, ensuring enquiries are managed efficiently, proposals are accurate, and our pipeline remains fully up to date. Your structured approach, strong attention to detail, and ability to support both clients and internal stakeholders will directly contribute to our continued success. You will follow through actions and help the team to achieve their actions and targets.

Key Responsibilities



1. Project & Enquiry Management



Manage incoming project enquiries and provide costed solutions. Support the Project Business Development Manager by handling administrative tasks. Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to understand client needs. Perform basic take-offs, generate cut lists, and bills of materials. Prepare accurate cost estimates and proposals. Ensure smooth handover of orders to operations with complete documentation.

2. Sales Pipeline & CRM Management



Take ownership of the project sales pipeline and CRM systems. Ensure records are updated by sales staff and follow up as needed. Maintain accurate customer and lead information. Provide up-to-date pipeline data for weekly sales meetings and reporting. Support the strategic use of CRM data to improve sales performance.

3. Client Communication & Collaboration



Communicate professionally with clients, suppliers, and colleagues. Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors and stakeholders. Collaborate across departments to ensure excellent customer service.

4. Costing & Estimating



Conduct cost analysis and highlight risks or cost-saving opportunities. Coordinate drawing take-offs and call-offs. Work with the sales team to ensure competitive pricing. Maintain thorough documentation of all estimates.

5. Team Support



Coordinate marketing requirements and liaise with marketing resources. Organise meetings, events, and team activities. Support reporting and general team coordination.

A Typical Day



You will be the internal face of the project sales department, managing multiple live enquiries, liaising with sales and operations, and maintaining oversight of the opportunity pipeline. You will be detail-driven, ensuring data and documentation are accurate, while also following up with the sales team to ensure tasks are delivered on time.

Skills & Attributes



Experience in technical or construction-related products (preferred). Strong organisational and communication skills. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings/specifications. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and CRM tools. Process-driven with excellent attention to detail. Confident in balancing multiple priorities and deadlines.
