Sales Team Lead (1 2 Days/week)

Brighton, ENG, GB, United Kingdom

Job Description

1-2 Days a Week | Freelance | In-office - Brighton, Sussex

Help Hungry, High-Potential Sales Reps Go from "Promising" to

Performing.

Second Voice is on a mission to give people with no prior sales experience a genuine shot at thriving sales careers. We specialise in developing ambitious talent from customer-facing backgrounds - hospitality, client services, retail - and transforming them into confident, commercially impactful Sales Reps.

We've got a talented, eager team who are all-in on learning how to use phone as a tool to open up new opportunities. What we need now is a fractional Sales Team Lead - someone who can energise, structure, and coach them into consistent performance.

If you've walked the Telesales walk, managed early-career teams, and know how to use coaching, clarity, and smart rituals to drive results on phones - we'd love to meet you.

The Role

We're looking for a fractional Sales Team Lead to work

2 days a week

from our Brighton office. You'll be the heartbeat of the team - part coach, part strategist, part hype person - building confidence, structure, and performance from the ground up.

You'll be responsible for:

Setting monthly activity KPIs and output targets for each rep based on the account they're working on Picking up our frameworks and tools to assess rep skill levels and identifying where each person needs development, and then coach them to those goals Introducing consistent rituals (e.g. daily standups, accountability check-ins, mini incentives) to drive clarity and momentum Bringing high energy, motivation, and structure to the floor Helping us follow through on our commitment to weekly team training + 1:1 coaching sessions Creating a fun, focused culture that encourages growth without burnout

What Makes This Team Special?

Zero experience, max potential:

Our Sales Reps come from customer-first roles. They're hungry to learn and deeply human in how they approach conversations on phones.

People-first, not process-only:

You'll walk into a tight-knit, collaborative culture. No cliques, no egos - just a team that backs each other and wants to get better.

Flex with impact:

This is fractional by design, but your leadership will have a dailyripple effect.

Who You Are

You've walked the walk - as a rep, as a manager, and now as someone who understands the mechanics of great sales performance and how to teach it.

You might describe yourself like this:

"I've been on the phones. I've led teams. I've seen how great sales teams are made - and I lovegetting people there."

You bring energy without shouting

- you lift the room with your presence, not your volume, and know how to inspire without overwhelming.

You can design call frameworks, onboarding flows, and training sessions

- and then get on the floor and coach them livewith energy and empathy.

You're a natural coach

- trained, certified, or simply experienced in developing talent over time - you don't just know how to sell, you know how to developpeople who sell.

You bring structure without stiffness

- You know how to create rituals, targets, and feedback loops that feel motivating, not micro-managed.

You get that early-career reps need more than dashboards

- they need clarity, encouragement, and accountability that stretch but don't break people.

You're commercially minded, but not commission-obsessed

- You get that confidence and consistency create the best results.
Bonus if you've worked with early-career reps or startups with scrappy-but-ambitious cultures, especially where the sales function is still evolving.
