Responsibilities:
The Sales Team Leader is responsible for assisting the head of sales to lead strategic initiatives to drive business growth, increase customer satisfaction, and maximise revenue. The Sales Team Leader is also expected to assist with the people management of a team of 7 account managers, leading by example and coaching where needed. Furthermore, continuing to assist customers with a five-star customer service approach to secure the potential sale.
To proactively develop new and existing relationships with clients to process customer quotes, orders, and enquiries across our entire underfloor heating range. To ensure customers receive a fast and efficient response to sales enquiries, building customer loyalty and enhancing the company's reputation for service.
You will process and recognise your customers' needs and requirements and will upsell where appropriate to do so. You will then be tasked with following back on your customers quote to answer any questions and convert into a sale. You will be well versed in managing a sales pipeline and following up on enquiries and leads.
Unlike a traditional Sales Account Manager, the Senior Sales Account Manager will play a more senior and strategic role, focusing on mentoring junior sales staff and setting the direction for account management best practices.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
Support the Head of Sales execute sales strategies whilst identifying opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and increasing revenue with clients.
Remain committed to achieving their set daily/monthly targets whilst assisting to develop the sales team overall success
Leadership & Mentorship:
Lead, coach, and mentor junior telesales team members. Provide guidance on handling challenging accounts, negotiating deals, and achieving performance goals.
Ensure the team is completing the daily call targets, on call for inbound and proactively making outbound calls
To assist with quotations and orders and ensuring HubSpot and Orderwise are up to date with relevant notes.

Performance Reporting & Analytics:
Taking instruction from the Sales Manager to track and report on individuals target progress, client satisfaction, and lead conversion rates, ensuring targets are met.
Customer Service:
To ensure that customers are always extended the highest levels of customer service
To deal promptly with any customer complaints and escalate appropriately
To provide accurate advice
