The Role
As the Dealer Renewals and Upgrades Team Leader, you'll support the Team Manager in supervising the team. This includes setting team workloads, training staff members, and ensuring the team is working towards company objectives. You'll also step up to deputise in the Team Manager's absence, providing leadership and direction to ensure the smooth running of the department.
Key Responsibilities
Assist and support the Team Manager in achieving departmental targets each month.
Lead and manage the team in the absence of the Team Manager.
Manage the department inbox, ensuring workload is effectively distributed.
Consistently achieve agreed individual KPI (Key Performance Indicator) targets.
Plan, develop, and deliver job-specific training to new and existing team members, in collaboration with managers, directors, and the People & Culture team.
Provide ongoing support for underperforming team members through coaching, call listening, refresher training, and mentoring.
Actively contribute to and participate in team meetings, daily huddles, and wider business sessions.
Organise and oversee evening and weekend rota cover, proactively addressing unexpected absences.
Support the Team Manager in managing performance, attendance, conduct, or other people-related issues, liaising with People & Culture as required.
Collaborate with other departments to maintain seamless business operations.
Operate with company objectives and customer satisfaction at the core of all activities.
About You

Essential Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in a team leader or supervisory role, ideally in sales, renewals, or customer service.
Strong communication and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and develop others.
Organisational ability to manage workloads, priorities, and rotas effectively.
A results-driven mindset with a track record of achieving KPIs.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve challenges proactively.
